Before crossing paths with Peyton, falling for a woman was unimaginable for Elena, a straight woman and wife of a pastor. However, her new friendship with Peyton, an out lesbian writer, transforms swiftly from a crush into a torrid extramarital affair. 

Despite their attraction, Peyton has strong reservations about becoming involved with a married straight woman.
